This is a concept album about a distant planet colonized by a corporation for mining natural resources.

Scientists on the expedition realize the natural resource extraction planned will cause the planet to become uninhabitable. The corporation ignores the data and requires the mission to continue. They have done this to many planets before and then moved on to new ones. It’s also found that there was a previous civilization on the planet that has since died out. Some of their texts speak of the extinction as being brought about by unsustainable cultural practices.

Some of the colonists defect from the corporation and set up an alternative community called The Wild Bunch. They make various attempts at sabotaging the corporation’s project. The corporation tries to disembark from the planet after getting sufficient natural resources to guarantee return on investment, but The Wild Bunch succeed in irreparably damaging the space freighters. The project is a failure and the future of the colonists is uncertain.

The corporation continues with other planets. It's been doing this for thousands of years. So long, in fact, that no one remembers which planet the corporation originated from. It may very well be the one on which the stranded colonists and the The Wild Bunch now find themselves on.

I love the whole theme going on with this album, like it was a film made in another world with animals or cats with human characteristics. For me its nostalgic as most of the cartoons I liked when I was younger had characters like that. The album is very fun, funky and upbeat with good energetic vibes! Most of the tracks are quick with nice synths, basses and complex beats. What I also enjoy about the album is that it has a bit of a disco flavour! Wuzzy Raccoon
